Le cahier de lecture/ The Reading Folder

Bonjour!

Hello! Sorry for the delay in my entry! It has been a whirlwind few days in grade 4.

As a class, we talked about choosing a book at your reading level using the 5 finger test. We also talked about the importance of reading in French at home. Each week, your child will have to read their library book or one that I have chosen which is geared to their reading level. They are expected to read a minimum of 2 times a week. This week, they have been asked to read once. Each student now has a black duo-tang (their reading folder), a ziploc in which they can put their book as well as their library book or one from our classroom. On Fridays, I collect the reading folders. Your support at home is greatly appreciated and will help your child improve their reading over the school year.
